Individuals
Clients come to me for help relieving symptoms, making sense of past experiences, and connecting to a more authentic sense of meaning and purpose. We work together to create new patterns and get unstuck from old ones, while cultivating self-awareness and acceptance. Often this process uncovers unique gifts and strengths that bring a newfound sense of wholeness and empowerment.
I believe therapy should be deeply comforting, while also inviting you to be genuinely challenged. My approach is meant to meet you exactly where you are, and foster a space where you can feel at home to be fully yourself. For me, the most effective therapy blends humor and lightness with deep reflection and meaningful growth.
We may also work with holistic practices that engage the mind, body and spirit, to help you access information and emotion stored in the body, and support your nervous system to recover from stress and overwhelm.
For many people, the hardest part is getting started, and trusting in yourself and the process. I’m here to listen, guide, and co-create a place of safety for whatever arises.
My fee for individual sessions is $175/hour.
I have a limited number of sliding scale spots available based on income; please contact me to learn more.
Couples
I work with couples of all identities, and I believe each couple has a right to define the terms of their own relationship. Therapy can help orient you to guiding principles that strengthen trust, build skills for more effective communication, create a deeper appreciation for each other as individuals, and better ways of caring for your relationship.
Many couples get into cycles where the same patterns are repeated, but never seem to resolve. I help couples better understand their cycles so they can stop repeating the same unhelpful loops. We may explore how early experiences led to the ways both partners show up in times of stress, and work on strengthening your ability to stay calmer and more present for hard conversations. Building self-awareness and a deeper understanding of your partner can bring clarity to the foundations of your relationship and create ways of showing love and connection that feel nourishing and authentic.
My fee for couple and family sessions is $200/hour.

Children
Before becoming a therapist I spent many years working with children, teens, and adolescents as a teacher, caregiver, and counselor. As a therapist for younger children (under 10 years old), I offer guidance and support as they learn to manage big feelings, navigate important milestones, and learn skills for relating with peers and adults.
Therapy with children can look different from therapy with adults because children express themselves and make sense of their feelings through the language of play. Some children will want a combination of talking and playing in therapy, and some will gravitate more toward one or the other. Just as therapy is a unique process for each adult, children will also find their own unique way of working through their emotions and making sense of their experiences.
I love providing a warm, welcoming, and fun space where children can feel seen and supported as they learn and grow.
Teens & Adolescents
The transition from childhood to adolescence and beyond can be a time of rapid change as there is a dramatic increase in insight and creativity, and more independence than ever before. It can also be a challenging time where things feel less stable, less certain, and often more pressurized, as social concerns and thoughts about the future take center stage. There is often a shift toward experimenting and pushing boundaries that can be an adjustment for the whole family.
Like younger children, teens and preteens can benefit from having a space to talk, and also to use art, creativity, and play to work through emotions and release pent up energy. Therapy for teens and preteens can be an important place to experience their emerging sense of identity, explore social needs, and learn how to manage boundaries and risks as they move toward the transition into adulthood.
When supported, these transitional years can be an exciting time of growth toward greater self-awareness and security in relationships, as milestones are achieved and challenges worked through.
Some of the most common themes in therapy with kids and teens include:
Emotional regulation
Transitions and change
Anxiety
Learning differences
Building confidence
Navigating relationships
Understanding mental health diagnoses
Recovering from traumatic experiences
